This ebook by Keri is an excellent guide for beginners, and a very useful reference work for more experienced soapers. This is the updated version (2020) of the first 'edition', and contains even more useful information.
It covers everything you need to know about how to make your first batch of soap safely and successfully. I go back to it time and time again to refresh my memory about technique, and more times than I can count for hints and tips on essential oil combinations. (I have it printed out and put in a binder to make it easier to refer to!)
I did the dog soap online tutorial and it's a brilliant course. I'm feeling brave enough to try making my own dog soap now. Kerri gives lots of info and tips and is always willing to answer questions. Highly recommend

Hello and welcome. My name is Keri and I am the face behind The Soap Coach. I am also the founder and owner of The Dog and I and creator of award winning soap for dogs.
I LOVE soap and I am completely obsessed with it and I really want you to be too! Soap has had a bit of a bad press in the 80s, 90s and 00's, associated with lumps of sogginess sat in a pool of slime on the side of the sink but modern soap recipes are nothing like that and handmade soap is a truly beautiful, luxury product that anybody can make. Yes even you! I would love to join you on your soap making journey and I can make it easy for you. Lets ditch the plastic and bring back soap!
